The Haren Holistics Homeopathic First Aid Kit is HERE and it's already serving people well out there on their adventures!
Let's dig into the practical application of this handy tool!
For starters, it's valuable that we understand the gist of how homeopathy works and what it is!
Homeopathy - A Brief History
We all know that we are energetic beings - the very vibrations of cells at our core govern how our body creates energy and functions. When there is a disturbance in our natural state of energy, we can begin to experience symptoms of dysfunction. In homeopathy, we like to look at these symptoms as signals from our body for nourishment and care.
When we are able to stimulate the body's natural healing response with remedies that are derived from nature, we can strengthen our body's natural ability to heal from the inside, out.
Homeopathy is a system of medicine that support's the body's innate ability to heal itself. Homeopathy operates under "the law of similars" as the remedies we use act by stimulating a healing response in the body that is similar to the existing symptom or complaint.
Homeopathy is the 2nd largest system of medicine in the world according to the World Health Association (WHO). This branch of medicine was initially discovered in the late 1700s by German Physician Dr. Samuel Hahnemann. In the 1900s homeopathic pharmacies and schools of medicine existed around the globe.
While many new individuals are just discovering this renowned form of medicine, it's important to note that it has been around for many, many years and has been *quietly* utilized by many celebrities including but not limited to the Rockefellers, Queen Elizabeth and the royal family, Paul McCartney and others. It seems like we really are on to something potent here!
So where do these remedies come into play for us?

Using Your First Aid Kit - A Practical Scenario
So . . . you find yourself in the mountains, enjoying the pristine beauty around you. You sit on a rock to enjoy your lunch - we all know everything tastes better in the wilderness, especially after a tough hike.

To your suprise the local honeybees decide they want to join you for lunch.
You find yourself in a situation with a stinger in your forearm and a moment of panic.
You remove the stinger and start to wonder if you will have an allergic reaction. You are unsure because you've never been stung by a bee before.
Your anxiety rises slightly as you realize how isolated you truly are in the rural landscape.
Thoughts rush through your brain: Should I hustle out of the wilderness? Will my throat start closing up? What do I do if this turns into a real life emergency? Will I be left out here to die? . . .
Your heartbeat quickens as the turmoil takes over your mind.
BUT . . . you quickly rememeber. Your Homeopathic Wilderness First Aid Kit in your pack! Thank goodness you decided to invest in this tool for yourself.
You open the handy kit, pull out the quick reference guide and find the symbol of the bee - perfect!
The remedy reads: Apis. Indicated for bites and stings with redness and swelling. AKA the homeopathic "epi-pen".
Your heartrate starts to normalize as you have a sense of calm knowing that you can support your body through this situation.
After you find your remedy you resort back to the instructions in the kit:
Find your appropriate remedy given the symptoms you are experiencing - CHECK.
Add 1-2 drops of remedy to water bottle and shake well. If no water container is available, simply drop 1-2 drops under the tongue - CHECK.
Sip on water with remedy once every 15 minutes (for more severe cases) until symptoms subside or condition improves - CHECK.
You sip your water ever so often as you start hiking your way back to the trailhead and you find that your body has been well supported!
Whew - what a great outcome!
While this is just one example of the application of the kit, there are several more circumstances from altitude sickness to wounds to concussions and cramps that this kit can be used for.
Designed for Quick & Easy Reference
The quick reference guide is designed to help you find the best possible remedy in a short amount of time. There are handy symbols that can easily direct you, even when your mental state might be slighlty jumbled. It's as simple as finding the best fit, dropping the remedy into your water bottle or directly under your tongue and letting the body's innate healing ability to take over.

Pretty cool, eh?
It is vital to note that this kit is not a substitute for emergency medical care, but rather a tool for supporting the body's natural healing mechanisms when resources are limited.
